John Kean

I’m John Kean, a British music technologist, producer, and sound engineer based in Berlin. I create immersive soundscapes and work across both live and studio contexts, from modular synthesis and generative systems to recording, mixing, and mastering.
My work blends hands-on production with research into interactive and generative music. I collaborate with artists to bring ideas to life, building modular setups and real-time systems that respond to performance and audience input.
