I am Jordan Hodgins, a PhD candidate in Anthropology at McGill University in Montreal, where I explore the social life of health, public health infrastructures, and the politics of access to life-saving medications within Canadian contexts. I draw on ethnographic methods and critical medical anthropology to understand how people experience health technologies, care systems, and the social determinants that shape access to care. Beyond research, I teach and mentor students as a Teaching Assistant and contribute to scholarly conversations through presentations and publications, grounded in collaboration with colleagues and community partners. I am committed to ethical, inclusive research practices and to translating complex ideas into accessible knowledge for both academic and public audiences.
