ABOUT ME I was born in Barcelona in 1979 and grew up in nearby Badalona. I'm a comic book artist and illustrator, trained at the Escola Joso Cómics. I've published three books and won several illustration and poster design awards. I consider myself a "versatile" artist because, in addition to using digital resources, I'm equally comfortable with all manual techniques, and my style is both chameleon-like and highly personal. My work, often imbued with unsettling undertones and peculiar perspectives, with touches of dark humor, is influenced by surrealism, expressionism, and pop culture. Contemporary artists such as Bill Plympton, Jan Svankmajer, Robert Crumb, Frank Miller, and Charles Bukowski are some of my influences, not to mention my long list of favorite musicians. At this stage of my career, I'm experimenting with new mediums and possibilities. I find it very satisfying to carve wood and create my own animations from scratch, for which I even produce the soundtracks. I play several instruments on my own; I have rhythm in my blood! :P I'm committed to environmental protection, and connecting with nature is one of my greatest sources of inspiration and joy. For a few years now, I've had my own t-shirt shops on platforms like La Tostadora, Spreadshirt, and Threadless. Obviously, I'm very creative, but also responsible and punctual.
