Masters research with Queensland Rail (QUT) applying ML modelling to four large QR datasets to identify high-priority rail segments for renewal. Engineered a 4-in-1 master dataset through merging, feature engineering, EDA, and imputation. Developed ML models (Random Forest, XGBoost, Neural Networks) with feature selection (RFE), SHAP interpretability, Permutation Analysis, Grid Search CV, and a softmax-weighted degradation score to produce explainable renewal prioritization outputs. Designed a transparent Prioritization Framework fusing renewal probability with a degradation score for data-driven asset management. Delivered a technical presentation at QR HQ with strong engagement; recommended future work. Shortlisted for a National Transport Conference in 2026.
