I was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, in 1968, and earned a Bachelor's Degree from the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore, with a major in Visual Communications - Illustration (1990). Since 1991 I have worked in Puerto Rico as a freelance illustrator, portrait painter, and photographer, including photo restoration at the family studio. In 2004 I moved to Seville, Spain, where I continued as a freelance illustrator and fine artist, also doing mural and decorative painting and printmaking. I have also worked as a graphic designer and art teacher. In 2021 I relocated to Marbella, Spain, where I paint, teach, and work as a freelance illustrator and caricaturist, currently studying at the Museum of Spanish Contemporary Printmaking workshop and exhibiting in local galleries.
