Joshua Gomez

Hi, I’m Joshua Gomez, a law graduate with a keen interest in AI, automation, and the legal-tech landscape. I completed an LLB with Honours at the University of Birmingham and am pursuing further study through an MSc in Law, Business and Management, with a master’s thesis on how AI, automation, and legal technology are reshaping the legal industry. My work spans rigorous academic editing, research, and exposure to major international law firms, and I enjoy turning complex ideas into clear, actionable insights.

Currently, I’m an Academic Writing Editor at Cactus Communications, and I have completed a training contract pathway at DLA Piper, including a tenure as Trainee Solicitor. I’m comfortable working remotely, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and bringing empathy and strong communication to client engagements and internal projects. Outside work, I pursue structured self-driven training in AI and legal tech, and I stay curious about how technology can improve legal services.
