I’m José Luis Morejón (Jota), a graphic designer focused on brand design. I build brand systems where every visual decision comes from a strategic decision, taking projects from research and brand strategy through to visual identity and guidelines.
With a background that blends graphic design, industrial design, audiovisual production, and branding studies, I aim for better judgment at every step—aligning multidisciplinary teams, defending proposals clearly, and adapting across industries and international markets.

KAWAO is a functional food brand from Ecuador, created to connect high-quality ingredients with mindful nutrition, responsible processes, and respect for nature.
The challenge was to build an identity that could communicate origin, quality, and authenticity, while avoiding the typical visual clichés used by natural and healthy food brands. The project started from the concept of “Origin,” drawing inspiration from Ecuador’s biodiversity, pre-Columbian cultures, and natural richness. We developed a full visual identity along with a graphic world made of botanical illustrations, patterns, a mascot, brand phrases, stickers, and other graphic resources.
The system was designed to work across many applications, from packaging and social media to campaigns, banners, billboards, and points of sale — creating a brand that’s consistent, recognizable, and ready to grow alongside a future product line.
Endara Arquitectos is an architectural design studio with more than four decades of experience in Ecuador. With the addition of two young partners trained abroad, the studio wanted something specific: to give continuity to its brand without losing what makes it strong, while making it more current and consistent with this new stage.
The challenge was clear. All direct competitors speak from the same place — minimalism, formal quality, context — which makes the market look very similar everywhere. Endara needed an identity that would set them apart without moving away from who they are.
Our work started with strategy: defining tone of voice, values, archetypes, and purpose before drawing a single line. From there, the concept emerged: La Línea (The Line) — the first gesture of all architecture — as the guiding thread of the whole identity. An essential brand, without extra decoration, where every decision has a reason.
The result is an identity system that reflects what Endara has always been, with a clarity it never had before.
