    paper As The Pendulum Swings

    This piece was inspired by the pendulum on the campus of Berea College. With 5 minutes before class one morning, I wondered what tempo the pendulum was swinging if the time signature was 4/4. According to the metronome app on my cell phone, it was 70 beats per minute. The melody came to my mind, I wrote it down before class began. I uploaded what I wrote to musescore, and then used Studio One to put the digital symphony to what I had composed.
