Juan Manuel Talero

I’m a freelance illustrator and concept artist focused on character-driven storytelling and dynamic visual design. My work emphasizes expressive characters, strong composition, and atmospheric environments that help bring narratives and fictional worlds to life. I enjoy developing characters from concept to final artwork and creating illustrations that communicate emotion, movement, and story in a clear and engaging way.

I primarily work with digital illustration tools such as Photoshop and Clip Studio–style workflows, producing high-resolution artwork suitable for both print and digital publication. My style is influenced by eastern visual aesthetics, with an emphasis on expressive character design, fluid motion, and strong visual storytelling.

I’m comfortable collaborating remotely, interpreting creative briefs and references, and translating story ideas into compelling visuals. I’m detail-oriented, reliable with deadlines, and proactive in communication, making sure feedback is incorporated efficiently throughout the creative process.

I’m especially interested in projects that involve character development, action scenes, and narrative illustration, and I’d be excited to contribute creatively to bringing a superhero story to life from concept to completion
