Hello, My name is Julia, and I am a junior graphic and UX designer with a Bachelor of Science in Media Technology from Södertörn University. I am excited to apply for the Junior Podcast Editor role and contribute with my experience in visual communication, digital content, and multimedia design. Throughout my education, I have developed a foundation in graphic design, visual communication, and digital content creation. I have experience working with Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere Pro for video editing. During my studies, I worked with video production and editing, and during my internship and thesis project at Volvo Cars, I created a short film to present and communicate the project outcome. This strengthened my interest in combining storytelling, visuals, and design to communicate ideas effectively. During my internship and Bachelor’s thesis at Volvo Cars, I worked in a cross-functional team alongside UX designers, visual designers, and developers. My work included conducting user interviews, analysing insights, and translating findings into design solutions. The experience strengthened my ability to collaborate, communicate ideas clearly, and create content with a clear purpose and audience in mind. I am also interested in how AI can support the creative process and use AI tools as part of my workflow for exploring ideas, developing concepts, and improving efficiency throughout different stages of design.
