Julian Menz

Hi there, I’m Julian Menz, an 18-year-old recent graduate from Wellington Boys’ College in New Zealand. I’m passionate about music and visual effects, and I mainly compose cinematic soundtracks and hip-hop beats. Inside of the VFX industry, I’m skilled with blender, proficient in Nuke and Adobe illustrator, Decent with Houdini and Substance Painter. I’m seeking a role to further develop my skills and deepen my experiences. Outside of school, I’ve enjoyed exploring animation basics in Maya and game development in Unity through Yoobee College summer programs, and I’m eager to contribute to collaborative projects that blend music with immersive visuals.

Outside of the work, I stay active at the gym and love spending time with friend. I’m bilingual in English and German and I’m excited to bring energy, curiosity, and a collaborative mindset to a team setting.
