Hi, I’m Jiayun Zhang, a Melbourne-based animator with Chinese ancestry, working across 2D hand-drawn, paper puppet, and needle-felt puppet stop-motion animation. I enjoy collaborating across disciplines and bringing ideas to life through creative storytelling and craft.

I’ve created collaborative works for the Melbourne Planetarium and Science Gallery, studied at the Victorian College Of The Arts and the University of Melbourne, and I thrive in fast-paced environments while delivering high-quality results.
