My name is Mariana, I am from Portugal and I am currently living between Brighton, UK and Porto, Portugal. In 2014 I moved to London to do a MA in Communication Design: Illustration at Kingston University. After that I went travelling for 6 months around the world.   I am passionate about illustration and graphic design. I have always found myself on a constant search for ways of expression in my life and soon I realised my eagerness to draw, to immediately imagine drawings as a characterisation of our daily routines and to create narratives, as my expression.   My strongest skills are in communicating ideas and concepts through illustration. I have many years of experience in the publishing industry which gave me strong skills in turning words into images. I am proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop. My illustration skills range from watercolour to vector illustration and I can easily adapt to the needs of the brief.
