Justin R. Pettiford

Hi, I’m Justin Pettiford, a music producer and performer with a Bachelor of Arts in Music and a passion for composition, recording, and live performance. I love leading creative processes, collaborating with production teams, and delivering high-quality music and sound across jazz, concert, and contemporary genres. I’m proficient in drums, percussion, piano, and guitar, and I’m continually developing my skills in recording, arrangement, and songwriting.

Beyond performing, I’ve shadowed Flux Creative Producers at the Clifford Brown Jazz Festival, performed with Hood College ensembles, and contributed to campus events and projects. I run a YouTube channel called “Justin Pettiford Music” to share drum covers and performances, and I’m active in community and student leadership roles that emphasize education, healthy relationships, and consent. I’m excited to translate my on-stage energy into impactful music production and sound design.
