Lead QA efforts for cloud-based K-12 education software, ensuring high reliability and performance across releases. Own test strategy, planning, execution, and reporting across multiple Agile sprints. Designed and implemented a company-wide Playwright MCP automation framework; trained QA on framework adoption; assisted cloning from GitHub and server installation/configuration in VS Code per internal standards. Enabled QA engineers to query Jira tickets via MCP and automatically generate structured test plans. Collaborated to identify automation scenarios for Playwright MCP to improve coverage. Managed defects, workflows, and sprint tracking in Jira; documentation maintained in Confluence. Partnered with Product and Engineering to define acceptance criteria and release readiness. Mentored junior QA engineers and tracked quality metrics via Atlassian dashboards.

Provided people leadership for a QA team of 2 direct reports, guided automation strategy for mobile testing (Appium) across Android and iOS, created training materials, and supported the organization’s transition to Agile. Served as Scrum Master and Team Lead during 2022–2023, facilitating ceremonies until a dedicated Scrum Master was hired. Acted as a liaison between QA, Development, and Product to ensure delivery commitments and quality standards.

Led QA initiatives across multiple Agile projects supporting mass communication and notification platforms. Collaborated with developers and product managers throughout the full SDLC. Used Jira and Confluence for defect tracking, test documentation, and sprint planning. Facilitated defect triage meetings and mentored new QA team members.
