In this project, I talk about speed and what actually makes it possible. I start by looking at supercars, sprinters, and jets. They all seem different, but they share one thing in common, speed. I explain that behind speed is dynamics, which is the study of forces.
I describe forces as pushes and pulls. When I kick a ball, I use force. When I run, I push against the ground. Even when something is not moving, like a table, forces are still acting on it. Gravity pulls it down and the ground pushes up on it. This shows that forces are always present, whether we notice them or not.
I then explain why humans cannot fly on their own. Gravity pulls us toward the Earth at 9.8 meters per second squared. Our bodies cannot create enough upward force to fight against that pull. That is why we needed to build airplanes that can generate lift and thrust to overcome gravity.
When I talk about sprinting, I explain how different forces affect runners. Gravity pulls us down, friction between our shoes and the ground helps us move forward, and air resistance pushes against us. Without friction, we would just slip. Even wind can slow us down. I use the example of Usain Bolt to show how powerful force production can lead to incredible speed. His world record proves how far the human body can go when everything works perfectly.
I also explain how these same ideas apply to machines. Isaac Newton explained that an object will stay at rest or keep moving unless a force changes it. A supercar keeps moving fast until braking, drag, or another force slows it down. Jets also rely on forces like lift, thrust, drag, and gravity to fly.
In the end, I show that dynamics controls all motion. It explains our limits, but it also shows how we can push past them. Speed is not just about strength. It is about understanding and using forces in the right way.
