DESIGN RESPONSIBILITIES
✱ Lead client engagement from initial brief through design presentations and competitive pitches, ensuring a clear understanding of project objectives, scope and design direction.
✱ Develop and direct interior design concepts, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver cohesive and innovative spatial solutions.
✱ Produce and oversee high-quality presentation materials, including freehand sketches, 2D visualisations and detailed 3D models that effectively communicate design intent.
✱ Select and specify furniture, fixtures, finishes and materials, balancing aesthetic vision with functionality, durability, budget parameters and programme requirements.
✱ Coordinate with external consultants including architects, lighting designers, engineers and contractors to ensure integrated and technically resolved design solutions.
✱ Prepare and review comprehensive design and tender documentation, including drawing packages, specifications, access statements and design risk assessments across all project stages.
✱ Manage and coordinate internal project teams, including junior designers, CAD technicians, visualisers and specialist consultants ensuring timely and accurate delivery of design packages.
✱ Monitor project budgets, schedules and design deliverables, maintaining design quality while responding to programme and cost constraints.
✱ Oversee FF&E procurement processes, including supplier coordination, sample approvals, lead-time management and installation scheduling.
