Hi, I’m Kassandra Lora, an Industrial Designer and 3D-technician with many years of experience in 3D modelling and digital fabrication techniques such as 3D-printing and 3D-scanning. I work a lot with CAD and digital files, and I have strong experience designing objects and parts that are ready for real production. I have worked with different production methods and have several products and projects that have successfully reached the market. My practice combines design, technology and material experimentation, often working between digital modelling and physical prototyping. I have collaborated on projects for artists, companies and also for TV and film production, where I design and prototype different objects and technical parts. In addition to my professional work, I have also been teaching digital 3D techniques in several design schools and universities in Stockholm, sharing my knowledge of CAD, 3D printing and digital fabrication with students. I hold a Master’s degree in Design Ecologies from Konstfack University of Arts, Crafts and Design in Stockholm, where my work has focused on sustainable design and innovative materials for additive manufacturing. My research has included developing biomaterials from wine industry waste for 3D-printed objects and lighting design.
