I am an illustrator and graphic designer based in Basel, Switzerland. In my illustration practice, I create visual accompaniments to literary works as well as personal visual research projects, blending digital and analogue media and exploring different techniques and materials. An illustrative quality is also present in my graphic design practice, particularly in poster design, where narrative and imagemaking remain central elements of my visual language. Since 2024, I have been a member of the Ukrainian solidarity collective in Switzerland, 380 Collective, where I collaborate with colleagues on curating art events and exhibition projects dedicated to Ukrainian art.

    uniE621 Illustrations
An ironic and hyperbolized depiction of yoga practice that emerged of yoga asanas. A limited color palette is used, with an emphasis on depicting a yoga practice performed by an untrained, somewhat awkward participant. These illustrations capture the unglamorous daily routine of people who practice yoga.
    uniE621 Poem Illustrations
This series of illustrations is intended to create a visual sequence accompanying a poem by the Ukrainian artist Taras Shevchenko. The themes explored in this poem relate to motherhood, family comfort, and the joy of labor. Since the author addresses themes of happiness and love, a drawing technique was used to convey ephemerality and transience. The images are semi-transparent, dreamlike, and reflect the mood of the poetry, which carries a similar sense of softness and emotional fluidity.
uniE621 Illustrations to the visual study
This project explores the tension between artistic freedom and political control in Dovzhenko’s novel “Enchanted Desna”. The visual language used in the illustrations is based on “decoding” the messages written between the lines—those that cannot be expressed openly. The illustration process employs methods of juxtaposition and contrast to reflect the tension between the author’s desire for free self-expression and the need for self-censorship. At the same time as reading the novella and conducting this visual exploration, a parallel historical study was carried out, which conceptually provided significant support throughout the process.
uniE621 Poster design for the movie screening event
The event for which this poster was created consisted of two parts: a charity sale of ceramics and bread, and a screening of 20 Days in Mariupol. Taking into account the event’s educational rather than entertainment-oriented purpose, a stylistically minimalist design strategy was chosen for the poster. The simple depiction of bread refers to the fundraising effort carried out through the sale of ceramics and bread during the event.
uniE621 Poster design for Christmas event
This poster was created to promote a Ukrainian concert and singing workshop organized by the ensemble “Chorny Halky“ (Black Magpies.) The main visual element of the workshop, two singing birds, references the name of the group. The mirrored compositional approach is inspired by Ukrainian paper-cut folk art, emphasizing the traditional character of the event. Red was chosen as the primary color intentionally, as the poster represents a Christmas-themed event and rich red tones are often associated with Christmas. The script typeface was selected for the same reason, reinforcing the festive atmosphere of the occasion. The remaining text serves an informational purpose and is visually harmonized with the rest of the graphic elements.
uniE621 Poster design foe event "Mosaic Workshop"
This poster was created for an event where participants have the opportunity to independently engage in all stages of mosaic-making, from preparing the ceramic pieces to composing the final arrangement. Instead of showcasing finished works, the poster features images of tools, giving participants a sense of the process they will go through during the event.
uniE621 Poster design "Bread Skulpture Workshop "
This poster was created to promote a bread-baking workshop. The central element of the poster is an image of a braided loaf of bread, whose color, texture, and form convey the experimental and creative approach of the workshop. Typography is integrated as a structural element, supporting the overall composition while maintaining the clarity of the information. The poster is designed to function both as an attention-grabbing piece in public space and as a clear invitation for a specific audience interested in art, crafts, and collective creative practice.
