Kate Campbell is an award-winning director, writer, and producer with a growing slate of acclaimed scripted and unscripted work. In the past five years, she has directed and produced seven film and TV projects, including the internationally awarded Boundless, a WWII drama about the Women Airforce Service Pilots, featuring 11 cast members, 60 extras, 40 crew, and flying warplanes. The project is in development as a TV mini-series with an Oscar-winning producer. She also directed and produced flying reenactments and the narration segments for Operation Lights Out, a feature documentary on Canadian humanitarian pilots in the Nigerian Civil War. Kate is the creator, showrunner, director and executive producer of Trailblazing Talks with Dini Petty, a nationally broadcast Network TV Series hosted by broadcast icon Dini Petty. Kate is currently attached to direct three feature films: the period drama After Midnight, the psychological thriller Satisfaction, and Green Mountain State, a Sundance Writer’s Lab finalist. As an international actor, Kate appeared in the Oscar-nominated Gone Girl and earned a Maverick Movie Award nomination for Badsville. Her TV roles include CBS’s In the Dark, Bell Fibe’s BIKE, Sony Fox’s Doc and CBC’s Murdoch Mysteries. And as a seasoned vocalist, she fronted the LA-based bands The Martini Kings and Pop Nouveau Jazz, performing for The Oscars, HBO, Disney, and more.
