Kate Campbell is an award-winning director, writer, and producer with a growing slate of acclaimed scripted and unscripted work. In the past five years, she has directed and produced seven film and TV projects, including the internationally awarded Boundless, a WWII drama about the Women Airforce Service Pilots, featuring 11 cast members, 60 extras, 40 crew, and flying warplanes. The project is in development as a TV mini-series with an Oscar-winning producer. She also directed and produced flying reenactments and the narration segments for Operation Lights Out, a feature documentary on Canadian humanitarian pilots in the Nigerian Civil War. Kate is the creator, showrunner, director and executive producer of Trailblazing Talks with Dini Petty, a nationally broadcast Network TV Series hosted by broadcast icon Dini Petty. Kate is currently attached to direct three feature films: the period drama After Midnight, the psychological thriller Satisfaction, and Green Mountain State, a Sundance Writer’s Lab finalist. As an international actor, Kate appeared in the Oscar-nominated Gone Girl and earned a Maverick Movie Award nomination for Badsville. Her TV roles include CBS’s In the Dark, Bell Fibe’s BIKE, Sony Fox’s Doc and CBC’s Murdoch Mysteries. And as a seasoned vocalist, she fronted the LA-based bands The Martini Kings and Pop Nouveau Jazz, performing for The Oscars, HBO, Disney, and more. She headlined for several years at the Purple Room in Palm Springs and has also sung with Robby Krieger (The Doors) and Jeff Goldblum and his Mildred Snitzer Orchestra.
