Katie Spear is a New York City based video editor and film director. As an editor, Spear works across formats and genres, with experience editing unscripted television, documentary and narrative short films, sizzle reels, and social media reels. Her editorial clients include Digital Cave Media, Jon Youshaei, The Yogi Foundation, On Air Presents, the National Endowment for the Humanities, McGraw Hill, and Steve Ayson, a 4-time DGA nominee for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Commercials. She is currently working as an editor on an unscripted television show that will air on Amazon Prime in 2026 and is accepting new freelance clients. She wrote, directed, produced, and edited the short comedy film, Jade The Icon (2025), which premiered at the Big Apple Film Festival.
