Kyle Biane began his career at The Record Plant in Sausalito, CA before transitioning to Conway Recording in Los Angeles, where he advanced from Intern to assistant engineer. Over the course of his diverse 20-year career, Kyle has emerged as a producer, mixer, and engineer, showcasing his versatility and expertise across a wide range of genres.
Throughout his career, Kyle has made significant contributions to the film advertising industry. In 2012, he co-founded Confidential Music alongside composer John Samual Hanson, mixing trailer music for blockbuster films such as “Star Wars: The Force Awakens,” “The Lost Bus,” and “Jurassic World,” among numerous others.
One of Kyle’s notable strengths lies in his ability to record orchestras and bands alike, demonstrating his versatility and adaptability. Whether capturing the grandeur and finesse of an orchestra or harnessing the raw energy and power of a rock band, Kyle’s expertise in microphone and gear selection enables him to shape the sound and capture the authentic essence of each project from its source. His meticulous approach and unwavering attention to detail have earned him a well-deserved reputation for delivering high-quality recordings and crafting unique sonic landscapes.
In addition to his work in the film industry, Kyle has mixed tracks for various artists, including Lila Forde, Lauren Ruth Ward, Nico Turner, Cassidy King, and Taft Buckley. Through his artistry, Kyle enhances the impact and emotional depth of a project, allowing the vision of each artist to shine through.
Continuing to embrace new challenges, Kyle partnered with producer Peter Recine to open The Market Recording in Echo Park, CA. From this platform, he continues to pursue his passion for crafting soundscapes.
