Hi, I’m Khrystyna Borodkina, a Master’s student in Media and Human-Centered Computing at TU Wien. My work focuses on human-centered design, combining user research, UX methods, and hands-on prototyping. I have experience in 3D modeling and digital fabrication, working with tools like Fusion 360, Inventor, Solid Edge, and Blender, as well as technologies such as 3D printing and laser cutting. I’ve worked on several interdisciplinary projects where I was involved from early concept development to final implementation. For example, I contributed to the design of an interactive exhibition installation about Danube biodiversity, where we developed a physical artifact and user experience in a team setting. I also created a web-based tutorial explaining the 3D printing workflow, with a focus on accessibility and inclusive design. In addition to design and prototyping, I have experience in user research, including interviews, usability testing, and data analysis. I’m particularly interested in accessibility, inclusive design, and the social impact of technology, as well as topics like responsible AI and algorithmic fairness. I work in a structured and reliable way, enjoy collaborating in multidisciplinary teams, and like turning complex ideas into understandable and usable solutions. I am fluent in English, have good German skills, and am a native speaker of Ukrainian and Russian.
