My name is Khue and I am a recent high school leaver. I graduated Mount Albert Grammar School earlier this year, and the subjects I took were Product Design, Digital Technology, Physics, Geography and Earth and Space Science. Aside from volunteering as a backstage technical operator for Raye Freedman Arts Centre, Dolphin Theatre and a couple of other events and productions, I do not have any significant work experience. However, I am skilled with tools and am proficient at computers, and I have experience using CAD software such as Fusion360 to design and create products from scratch. I love doing practical work, and I can be exceptionally focused when it is needed. I pay close attention to details and strive for perfection in everything that I do. This year, as part of my Technology Product Design scholarship submission, I designed and built a large-scale sculpture for my school's Technology Block. This sculpture centers around the use of lights to engage with anyone who walks past, and upon completion has been met with positive reception from students and teachers alike.
