As a passionate and dedicated graphic design student graduate, I am eager to apply my creative skills and technical knowledge to real-world design projects. Through my coursework, I have gained hands-on experience in various design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and have developed a strong understanding of design principles, typography, and visual storytelling. I am enthusiastic about continuing to grow as a designer and am seeking opportunities to contribute to innovative projects, while further enhancing my skills in both digital and print design.

This was my very first project as a graphic design student and enjoyed the process very much. I found that this assignment was extremely helpful in getting to know the adobe suite photoshop program as it covered most of the basic framework of what we should be expected to know moving forward. I enjoyed finding pictures or images that suited the topic and getting creative while doing so. The creative process included a mind map of snow and surfing which lead to the following creations. The Snowboard ad lacked repetition and alignment at first. Adding the arrows pulled the image together and created a lot of cohesion. The Surfing ad denotes an underwater view of a surfer which i found very visually intriguing, the splashes were created with the photoshop paint brush tool to pull the sand and water together. Typefaces were chosen based on readability and context.
    uniE621 Web Banner
This was created for our webdesign project which we learned to code from scratch using Adobe Dreamweaver. This web banner was created in photoshop using pictures from previous events and adding a spash of colour. The typography chosen for this brand was designed to pull the eye by virtue of contrast; as the title is big large lettering and the subtext is condensed and subtle.

The goal of the badges was to provide a pop of colour to the viewer being that it is such a small object. To attract more consumers for the years to come.
    uniE621 T- Shirt
When creating this t-shirt the goal was to represent Vancouver Mural Festival in a bold way. Making the logo extra, extra large to encite its viewer.

I then created an additional mock up inspired by the badges for merchandise. This was to provide my ideal client options for the event.
    uniE621 Banner
The Goal of the banners was to create insight into what the mural festivities have created in previous events by placing artwork on them from previous events and gain basic understanding of who, what, when, where and why.
    uniE621 Vancouver Mural Festival
The assignment for web design was given to first find an event and re-brand this event as if it were our own. I chose the Vancouver Mural Festival. I then created a word map consisted of adjectives like bold, brave, artsy and hip. And choose to lead with the image depicting a paint brush with the acronym for VMF in the middle; due to the fact that our brains process images 60,000 times faster than text.
    uniE621 Travel Guide Creation
Our assignment in graphic principles was to create a travel guide for a vacation of our choosing. Peru is very colourful and I struggled to create a template that would best suite its design.. after searching for inspiration on behance. I decided to go with a minimalist approach to create more balance and visual constrast.

Mediums: Pencil 8' by 11' inches I enjoyed sketching out this lovely scene and wouldn't mind making this into an album cover or something of the sort. This was created years ago and have wanted to expand this sketch into a concept since.
