I’m a Computer Science graduate from the University of Wisconsin–Madison with a Certificate in Game Design, passionate about immersive technology, interactive systems, and XR development. I’m currently a VR Research Intern at UW–Madison’s NeuroErgoLab, where I lead development on LEARNER, a Unity-based VR training simulator for first responders designed in collaboration with UWPD to study decision-making and stress in high-stakes situations. Previously, I contributed to VR projects in Belgium and the Wisconsin Institute for Discovery, developing applications ranging from medical VR tools to large-scale Unreal Engine environments for a 6-wall CAVE system. I enjoy combining storytelling, user experience, and real-time technology to craft immersive experiences that are both technically robust and meaningful.

Work Experience

Lead VR Developer at Neuro Ergonomics Lab, UW–Madison (Department of Industrial & Systems Engineering)
September 1, 2025 - Present
Lead VR developer for LEARNER, a Unity-based first-responder training simulator built with UW PD to study decision-making and de-escalation. Enhanced NPC animation, interaction, and XR design based on research goals and stakeholder feedback for realistic training scenarios. Conducted multimodal data collection (eye-tracking, heart-rate, surveys) to support stress and cognition studies in VR.
Undergraduate VR Research Assistant at Ponto Research Group, Wisconsin Institute for Discovery, Madison, WI
May 1, 2025 - October 22, 2025
Developed 3D virtual environments in Unreal Engine 5 for the lab’s six-wall CAVE VR system using nDisplay and Switch board for synchronized rendering. Expanded XR development pipeline beyond Unity, enabling new research capabilities and improving visual fidelity for CAVE demos. Contributed to XR discussions aligning research with industry trends.
Virtual Reality Research Intern at CERF TECHNIQUE - HELHA Mons, Belgium
July 1, 2024 - October 22, 2025
Redesigned neck-mobility VR app for Meta Quest 2, using Unity LTS and XR Interaction Toolkit; resolved performance issues. Presented findings to researchers and clinicians, recommending game-design strategies to improve patient engagement.
CAVE Immersive Environment Demo Developer at UW–Madison Neuro Ergonomics Lab (Unreal Engine 5)
May 1, 2025 - October 22, 2025
Built a post-apocalyptic 3D environment for the lab’s six-wall CAVE system using Nanite-optimized assets; showcased during internal demos.
XR Developer at Mixed Reality Shooting Range (Unity 3D)
December 1, 2023 - October 22, 2025
Built a mixed-reality prototype for Quest 3 using passthrough and spatial anchoring with the Oculus Integration SDK. Programmed controller-based object interactions in C# (grab, consume, shoot 3D objects) with responsive physics and audio feedback for realistic immersion.
