Kirstie Lindsay

I am a passionate and versatile costume and fashion designer with a strong foundation and Honors degree in fashion design. My education at the Scottish Borders campus, renowned for its rich textile history, has provided me with a deep understanding of textile properties and applications. I bring expertise across the full spectrum of the design process, including concept creation, pattern cutting, tailoring, and sourcing.

With a keen eye for detail and storytelling, I specialize in costume design for the film industry, where I combine technical precision with artistic innovation to bring characters to life. I also have a strong interest in sustainable fashion and working practices, running my own small fashion brand, Bonnie Clò, which specializes in upcycled and recycled clothing. I create custom costumes and take on commission projects as a freelance artist, having experience in wardrobe departments across film, adverts, concerts, and photoshoots.
