Louis Besnier is a visual artist who creates works composed of small details to evoke big themes. Through accumulation, using paint, ink, marker, or even hydroalcoholic gel, he enjoys exploring new techniques and playing with all types of media. His approach focuses on people’s experiences, with a touch of architecture and an ecological awareness in his creations.
His artistic journey is deeply influenced by his roots and diverse experiences in France, Spain, and Chile. As a visual artist and designer, he draws inspiration from the richness of these places and their cultures. It starts with a word, then two, then a thousand interweaving stories, mixing meanings and scales to create a unique world filled with all the narratives that compose it.
These stories are inspired by the greatest surrealist painters, such as Salvador Dalí, infused with a culture of drawing and comic art. Louis enjoys blending media to add depth and meaning to his works.

Exhibition of paintings and illustrations
Through streets steeped in history, we wander through cities and their cultures. Each place reveals a vibrant cultural world, softly lit and full of life.
In this dreamlike journey, nothing is in its rightful place—monuments are built on imaginary foundations, some grow taller, others shrink to almost nothing, hinting at an entirely new spatial order.
This exhibition retraces travels, following lines, detours, and moments of wandering.
From the most impresive monument to the smallest detail tucked away in a hidden street corner, dive into a labyrinth of stories from here and elsewhere.
