As a visionary creative leader and Cornell University graduate in Design and Environmental Analysis, I have over two decades of experience as an interdisciplinary designer, creative director and art curator, I have crafted compelling visual and cultural narratives across diverse mediums and platforms on four continents—driven by an enduring commitment to design and artistic excellence. At the Hearst Corporation in New York, I designed and directed brand identities for iconic titles like Cosmopolitan, House Beautiful, Marie Claire, Hearst Group/Custom Publishing and Town & Country. For over sixteen years, I managed and led creative teams to deliver resonant, visually strong and strategically aligned content. I then founded a multidisciplinary design studio in Brooklyn, serving elite clients that included Vogue, Rolling Stone and HBO — refining my entrepreneurial skills to translate complex ideas into intelligent visual storytelling. My career has also been influenced and enriched by immersive international experiences
in West Africa and Southeast Asia, where I collaborated and created with artists and artisans.
In Cabo Verde, I founded Sabura Art & Design to mentor emerging, local, creative talent and preserve cultural craft traditions. In Thailand, I curated pop-up art salons with contemporary artists and worked closely with artisans to co-create bespoke, limited-edition, lifestyle objects. Most recently, I founded the Luxembourg/New York based Muka Collective, a collaborative platform that nurtures women in the arts through exhibitions, art salons and creative partnerships. Cultivating dynamic artistic experiences, challenging norms, building community and
amplifying women's voices through the lense of art and design.
