    Dune 2 Scene Sound Redesign

    In this project, the goal was to recreate all of the audio from this action-diverse clip of Dune 2, allowing students to gain practice in environmental sound design as well as voiced lines, music scoring, and most importantly, explosions! The original project was mixed for 7.1.4 utilizing Dolby Atmos within Nuendo. This version on YouTube was mixed down to stereo.

    This project utilizes different sounds recorded by me using a handheld Zoom recorder. After audio cleanup and various effects, it became this project! An immersive sound art piece that serves as a snippet into a world I am building- specifically into the mind of a character named Virgil Laramie (to be released in the future). The voice acting is done by a fellow friend and artist of mine- Liam, who can be found on Instagram under @meltapop
