Hi, I’m Laura Kleinbaum, an Emmy- and GLAAD-nominated TV and Musical Theatre writer and lyricist based in Los Angeles. I bring over a decade of professional experience writing for television and theatre for children and adults, with a focus on story, character, pacing, and song placement. Most recently I spent four years as Head Writer for Vida the Vet, an animated kids’ show on Nickelodeon, where I hired and managed a writing team, led the writers room, and edited every script. I love collaborating with teams to craft entertaining, emotionally resonant stories and catchy songs, and I’m excited to bring that energy to new projects.
