I’m Laine Longton, a Vancouver-based filmmaker, cellist, and visual artist. My work blends music and moving images across film production, post-production, and studio shoots, with a focus on storytelling and collaborative creation. I trained in post-production and cinematography at the Vancouver Film School (VFS) and have contributed to a range of short films, music videos, and studio projects.
I hold a Master of Music Performance and Literature in cello from the University of Illinois and a Bachelor of Music in Cello Performance with Honors from the University of Victoria. I bring a professional background as a cellist and a hands-on approach to film editing, direction, and design.
