Computing Engineer @ Development Tools at CERN

November 30, 2018 - July 24, 2025

From June 2015 to November 2018, provided development tools and CI/CD pipelines for accelerator operators and developers, managing a large Java codebase. Developed Gradle plugins and enterprise build systems, distributed internal Eclipse IDE, maintained CI services (Bamboo, Jenkins), and managed the JFrog Artifactory. Led the Development Tools Team from July 2017 onwards, including team coordination, project planning, and reporting. Continued to provide consultancy after moving to the Acquisition team.

Computing Engineer @ Data Acquisition & Middleware at CERN

March 1, 2018 - Present

Working since March 2018 on containerisation and orchestration software such as Docker, Kubernetes, and serverless frameworks. Led the Unified Controls Acquisition and Processing (UCAP) project as tech lead, designing architecture, developing components, and maintaining a service platform for the Accelerator & Technology Sector. The UCAP framework supports over 80 active users and is integral to mission-critical systems at CERN. Also contributed to other data acquisition and middleware products while focusing on quality, user experience, and documentation.
