Jan ’05 - present
• Graphic Recorder
Working in front of as many as 200 delegates during plenary discussions and Q&A sessions on strategy, leadership and performance issues, I combine my skills as a cartoonist and graphic artist with my corporate experience to create a conceptual map of the conversation.
• Graphic Facilitator
The design and production of rich picture infographics… These are A0 sized illustrations used to facilitate change management projects. I work directly with clients to create a visual metaphor that effectively communicates their message.
• Whiteboard animator
Alongside the above I also storyboard and create animated ‘hand-drawn’ videos that bring to life a client’s narrative in a compelling and memorable way.
• Information graphic artist – I have been immersed in the world of information graphics since the advent of desk top publishing and my different roles at the Reuters News Graphics Service have given me a great deal of expertise in the field of visual communication.
• Cartoonist – I sold my first spot cartoon to the Sun newspaper in 1980 and am an accomplished carcaturist.
• Childrens books – During 2005 and 2006 in partnership with the author I designed and illustrated two childrens books based on football team mascots. We went on to publish these two books independently.
