Lawrence Gibson

I am a Ghanaian filmmaker and cinematographer passionate about not just creating beautiful images but serving the story. I have trained my eyes and learned from renowned cinematographers such as Roger Deakins, Olan Collardy, and Greig Fraser to grow my craft. Currently, I work freelance in Accra, shooting both commissioned and passion projects, while collaborating closely with other filmmakers to elevate storytelling.

My philosophy as a cinematographer is to always serve the story by listening to the director’s vision and working as part of the creative team. I am humble and eager to learn continuously from directors, gaffers, production designers, and fellow cinematographers. My goal is to tell stories that captivate and hold the audience’s attention through meaningful and beautiful imagery.
