About
I am a singer-songwriter with over 30 years of experience specializing in blues rock. Since the 1990s, music has been my primary career, performing both original compositions and popular covers. I founded The Lee Lawless Band in 2004, and we perform regularly at notable New York City venues including B.B. King Blues Club & Grill as well as lounges, cafes, and nightclubs throughout the city.
Over the years, I have honed my skills as a lead and rhythm guitarist, singer, songwriter, and band leader. My work spans blues, rock, R&B, jazz, and country genres, including writing, arranging, recording, and producing original music. I am deeply passionate about engaging audiences and delivering dynamic live performances, maintaining a strong blues-rock presence inspired by masters like Jimi Hendrix and Robert Cray.
