Meet the designer! Let’s start off with some basic info: my name is Lelyan (that is lili-yin for those unfamiliar with the spelling). I’m a senior designer at UT Arlington, set to graduate in May of 2026 with a BFA in Visual Communication Design (which is just a fancy way to say I’m going to be one great designer). My passion for art has been there since I was a child, starting with my elementary teachers highlighting my doodles and poems written on my (straight A’s) papers and tests! Later in high school, I was exposed to the world of fashion design and spent my junior and senior years delving into it, learning that art doesn’t need to be a hobby—it can be your life. Fast forward to now, I’m soon to graduate with two internships under my belt: an amazing web design company in Fort Worth/Dallas, and the beloved NBA Champs of Dallas, the Mavericks!
