This portfolio is a snapshot of my career across Visual Effects, CG production, directing, immersive brand experiences, and education.
My background includes roles as Creative Director, CG Supervisor, and CG Artist, leading creative and technical execution from concept to delivery, and managing international teams of up to 20 artists across asset creation, animation, rendering, compositing, and final output.
I have also directed content for large-scale events and immersive installations using LED, projection, and interactive 3D environments for clients including Volkswagen, Huawei, Jaguar, Land Rover, Cadillac, and others.
Earlier in my career, I worked as an FX Lead and CG Artist on major film and TV projects, delivering simulations such as smoke, water, explosions, and steam, with credits including Hugo, Star Trek, Oblivion, Snow White and the Huntsman, and Game of Thrones.
I work as an industry mentor, instructor, and lecturer at Shanghai Vancouver Film School and Raffles Design Institute Shanghai, supporting student film projects and teaching Visual Effects, Photography, Cinematography, Digital Videography, Design Thinking, Production, and the History of VFX, with a strong focus on practical industry skills.
Alongside teaching, I have worked as an on-set VFX supervisor for international VFX companies, including projects for Disneyland Shanghai Park and Meng Niu’s Paris 2024 Olympics campaign at the Great Wall, handling key on-set data capture and VFX requirements such as green screen setup, HDRI, LiDAR scans, and consultations for smooth post-production integration.
