This original horror score was composed for a short film concept about a cursed VHS tape. Although the film did not go into production, the full soundtrack was completed as a standalone cinematic piece that is structured, dynamic, and story-driven.
The composition is split into two distinct acts.
Part One – The Presence:
A slow-burning atmospheric build that captures the feeling of being followed. Subtle textures, tension-driven layering, and unsettling sound design create a constant sense of unease.
VHS Static Transition
A harsh burst of analogue-style static interrupts the track, mimicking damaged VHS distortion. This acts as the narrative turning point and introduces Part Two of the music.
Part Two – The Hiding
More intimate, claustrophobic, and deliberate. The sound becomes sharper and more focused, evoking something lurking nearby, sneaking, and waiting.
