    Patrick discovers Music

    I produced realistic illustrations to enhance the narrative about Patrick, the protagonist, who loves math, and will find a mathematical solution in everyday situations. When school lets out for the year, he will go visit his Uncle John who loves music, and he is reluctant because he doesn’t realize the role math plays in music. However he is pleasantly surprised to discover that math does, in fact, play a role when he learns to play the guitar.

    In addition to producing the illustrations, I also integrated the visuals and text into a print ready layout and assisted the client with publishing on KDP.

    I developed concept sketches for 13 illustrations, plus a cover, revising them based on client’s feedback. Upon approval, I transformed the sketches into final compositions, utilizing Adobe Illustrator to achieve the style the client desired, also revising based on additional feedback. Finally, I utilized Adobe InDesign to format the content into a print ready edition and assisted with publication on Amazon KDP.
