I am a children's book author and illustrator and educator with more than 10 years in education and creative fields. I love collaborating with students and libraries to foster imagination, reading, and making art. I’ve illustrated several books and written two, including My Ancestors and Me, which is planned for publication in 2028. I enjoy sharing the book-making process and stressing the importance of collaboration and perseverance while creating books. When my own children were babies and in grade school, I stepped back from teaching and began making Picture Books for children. I’ve illustrated multiple books and served as a teacher in various classroom settings, including Resource Room, Inclusion, and Special Education, while also teaching Art & Design to K-5 students and working as a building substitute.
