I am Lourdes Carrico, a multidisciplinary professional bridging human rights practice, applied linguistics, forensic psychology, nonprofit leadership, and all aspects of production. I design and lead empirical research, coordinate language preservation projects, and advise organizations on decolonization, community engagement, and program development, a well as functiopning as consulting producer and script consulting ad development.
Beyond academia, I’ve built a career spanning education, consulting, publishing, and film, sound, stage and broadcast production. I’m passionate about cross-cultural communication, mentorship, and using storytelling and research to explore the human psyche and tackle difficult truths.
