I am Luca, I am 32 years old, and I am a graphic designer with a degree in product design. My visual design roots date back to my childhood. Back then I was fascinated by the art of drawing; expressing myself on a piece of paper was everything for me. I acknowledge that in my profession I cannot draw for the sake of it as I used to do when I was a child, but I should be able to apply my technique to the messages my clients want to convey. On the other hand, I am also strongly conscious that in every work I do, I should be able to mix the commitment’s needs with my own personal experiences and my own ways of seeing the world, because that is what will make a work original and unique. For this last reason, I never stop looking at the world that surrounds me; every detail can inspire ideas for my projects, no matter if apparently it has nothing to share. Horizontal thinking is crucial in every creative field; there are no limits to the imagination. My job does not end when I switch off my laptop, but it goes on in my mind during any other activity I attend by simply doing what I already do: looking around me. This is what I love about my job.
