Polinesia Viajes | Improving Conversion for a B2C Travel Agency

POLINESIA Viajes : Designing a personalised, trust‑building website for a French Polynesia‑specialised travel agency

    What I did:
    • Conducted a benchmark of four Spanish travel competitors, analysing visual design, navigation, mobile experience, trust signals and booking processes to identify key gaps.
    • Interviewed the agency’s CEO to align the redesign with user needs and business goals: we pivoted to emphasise trust, personalization and a high‑touch inquiry process rather than instant online booking.
    • Created personas and user journey maps to visualise how visitors discover, book and reflect on trips — this revealed emotional highs and lows and informed the site’s structure and content.
    • Developed a new information architecture rooted in research, reorganising content around user needs and business priorities so visitors could navigate, get inspired and act more easily.
    • Designed wireframes, mid‑fidelity and high‑fidelity prototypes, conducted user testing and iterated the experience accordingly.

Result: A refined website design that builds trust, guides users smoothly from discovery to booking, and aligns business strategy with user expectations.
