As a person, I have a very curious nature, and I love intellectually stimulating challenges. I do think that learning and self-development should never stop, and such passion, combined with my skills, enabled me to always reach top academic and professional results, among which I would like to mention my merit scholarship for my Master at Bocconi University, my traineeship at the European Central Bank, my participation to and victory at the 2023’s edition of Bending Spoons First Ascent, and finally my current job as a Data Scientist at Rewire. Being a consulting company in AI, during my work at Rewire I had the possibility of honing my skills in the full development cycle of an AI product, from the identification of the most impactful use cases and the consequent research on the possible solutions, to the analysis of data and the end-to-end implementation of the final product. In addition, as many profiles in the company are from MBBs like McKinsey and BCG, the environment is fast paced and stimulating, allowing me to learn a lot by sharing my findings and iterating over them with my colleagues, and to challenge myself in fields outside of my comfort zone, like the backend and frontend development of an application. Finally, I significantly grew in terms of project management, by learning both to identify the current priorities and to define the following steps of the solution I am working on. As a proof of my relentless desire to learn and to challenge myself, since the beginning of my traineeship at the ECB I have been working in parallel as a Data Scientist in four different projects at Bocconi University and its partners, during which I had the chance to independently both design and implement AI solutions for a wide variety of purposes, from traditional ML algorithms to the adoption of NLP techniques and LLMs for the classification and topic modelling of texts of various nature. During such projects I was the owner of the complete solution, from retrieving the data through web scraping to the reporting and presentation of the results. Finally, in my free time, I have also developed an application to monitor my financial investments and identify promising opportunities. Overall, I believe to be an excellent fit for this role, given my strong background and extensive experience in ML and data analysis (I am also comfortable with AWS); furthermore, I have been working on multiple projects from remote, therefore I am used to working on multiple tasks at the same time and still manage my priorities accordingly without compromising the quality of my work.
