I’m Luigi Maiello, an Italian composer, musicologist, and professor. I earned my Master’s in Musicology at the University of Rome ‘Tor Vergata’ and studied composition and music technology at the Conservatorio di Santa Cecilia. My work blends research, storytelling, and sound to shape emotions and ideas.
I’ve released thirty albums, scored over sixty documentaries, four films, and many cultural TV programs. I teach at Tor Vergata’s Master in Sonic Arts, guest-lecture at Luiss Business School and LUMSA, and contribute to Il Fatto Quotidiano and Musica magazine, while directing the Eufonie essay series for Ei Editori.
