Luís Varela

Hi, I’m Luís Varela, a 24-year-old from Minho who has been living in Porto for six years. I’m passionate about communication and love exploring it across different media. Since childhood I’ve aspired to be a poet, and I strive to bring that creativity into both my personal and professional life.

I’ve been a content creator since I was gifted a phone with a camera at twelve, and even though some videos were cringe-worthy, they’re safely tucked away. I’ve worked as a Production Assistant and Assistant Director on projects like the RTP series and Band À Parte, coordinating creative planning, locations, casting, and permits. I love music, cinema, and culture, and I enjoy bridging artists, directors, and technical teams to keep artistic and aesthetic alignment on set.
