This project is part of my ongoing artistic journey as an African storyteller and animator.
I started my animation journey using IbisPaint X and CapCut—mobile tools that allowed me to bring my first visions to life, even with limited resources. Those early works taught me the importance of creativity, consistency, and the courage to start with what I had.
Now, I’ve transitioned into using Krita and OpenToonz, exploring more advanced techniques while still holding onto the raw energy of my beginnings. My goal is to build a unique African animation aesthetic—one that carries the rhythm, culture, and soul of Malawi into every frame.
