Hi, I’m Mia Boudreaux. I’m currently involved with the Crocker Art Museum as a volunteer and with the Sutter’s Fort Indian Museum Parks as an interpretive contributor, where I help with events, greet guests, coordinate volunteers and vendors, and support welcoming experiences for visitors. I enjoy helping teams bring art and history to life for the public and I’m always looking for ways to improve how museum programs feel to attendees. I have completed my BA in Communication Studies at Sacramento State University, with a Minor in Art History. I’ve gained hands-on experience labeling artworks, researching collections, and interviewing artists to craft compelling exhibit text and public talks. I love turning historical objects into engaging stories and learning from museum professionals as I build my skills in public programming and curatorial work.
