I had an unconventional start to life after being diagnosed with mixed expressive & receptive disorder as a child, I quickly found my voice and passion in the creative field but back then it was just crayons. After graduating BFA Hons at Rhodes, applying to a design-focused University felt natural at an aptly named institution called Open Window which led me to a achieve a higher certificate in Graphic Design & Techniques. I'm grateful to be a creative who currently freelances at a niche yet quaint design studio in the country of Kyalami (called VDB Creativ) with leads who have many years under their belt and an art academy that I sometimes coach or co-teach classes in various fine art mediums during my downtime.
